The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional American football team based in Tampa, Florida. They are one of the teams in the South Division of the National Football League. In 1976, the Seattle Seahawks became an NFL team. The team lost 26 games in a row in the first two seasons. From the 1970s to the 1980s, the team had a record of more losses than wins 14 times, but they won the championship in 2003 and 2020 respectively. Super Bowl XXXVII and Fifty-fifth Super Bowl champions.

Tampa Bay is located in west-central Florida. The Buccaneers were founded in 1974 and joined the NFL at the beginning of the 1976 season. The team's name was voted on by fans and was chosen to celebrate the Gasparilla Pirate Festival in Tampa, Florida.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won six division titles: the NFC Central in 1979, '81 and '99 and the NFC South in 2002, '05 and '07. They won the NFC Championship in 2002 and the Super Bowl in 2002.
